Mason Phillips - Mason Phillips Tap Transmission Line Rebuild Project

AEP Texas representatives plan to rebuild approximately 14 miles of 69-kilovolt (kV) transmission line to 138-kV capacity between the Mason Substaion and the Mason Phillips Tap Substation in Mason.

The proposed improvements decrease the likelihood and duration of wide, community-sustained outages and modernize the electric system to meet current AEP engineering, safety and operational standards.
