AEP Texas representatives plan to upgrade the local electric transmission grid in Val Verde County. The Hamilton Road - Picacho Transmission Line Rebuild Project involves upgrading about 8 miles of electric transmission line to enhance electric reliability for area customers.
AEP Texas will replace existing H-frame structures with steel single-pole structures that will be about 80-100 feet tall. The structures will be placed in an approximate 100-foot right-of-way corridor.
