AEP Texas representatives are supporting industry with the construction of a new 345-kilovolt electric transmission line in San Patricio, Bee and Refugio counties.
The proposed project involves building approximately 17 miles of 345-kV transmission line to support industrial growth. Following review of public input and additional route analysis by the AEP Texas project team, company representatives plan to file a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) in Spring 2021.
