Bell Ridge - Devola138-kV Transmission Line Project


AEP Ohio representatives are planning upgrades to strengthen the electric system in Washington County. The Bell Ridge – Devola 138-kV Transmission Line Project involves building approximately 10 miles of power line and a new substation.

Portions of this project require Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) approval.

Project Updates

Late 2025: Landowners should expect to hear from O.R. Colan (ORC), AEP Ohio's right-of-way representative for this project, within the coming weeks to discuss upcoming field activities and next steps.
