North YalePower Connect
PSO officials plan to enhance the local power grid in north Tulsa County. These enhancements support economic development in the area and ensure continued reliable service for area customers.
Project Updates
Late 2024: Company representatives are evaluating route options to build a new 3-mile, 345-kilovolt (kV) power line connecting to a new AEP substation.
Route options are multiple alternatives presented to determine a final line route. Crews do not build all route options, rather, PSO selects one route to build based on public feedback and feasibility.
PSO welcomes you to attend an open house to view detailed maps, talk to team members, learn more about the project and discuss the construction process. The open house takes place 5 - 7 p.m. on January 7, 2025 at Barnes Elementary, 7809 East 76th Street North, Owasso, OK 74005. There is no formal presentation, so you can arrive at any time during the event.
PSO asks that you share your feedback on route options by January 17, 2025.
