Bartlesville Comanche - BlakeTransmission Line Rebuild Project

Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) representatives plan to improve the electric transmission system in Washington and Osage counties. The Bartlesville Comanche - Blake Transmission Line Project involves rebuilding about 17 miles of transmission line to increase electric reliability and strengthen the local power grid.

Project Updates

Spring 2023: PSO representatives plan to conduct field survey activities in the summer and through the fall as part of this project. Crews plan to complete environmental surveys that include collecting topographical data such as the location of streams, wetlands, and potential habitats for endangered species. Some of the survey work may require crews to place stakes and ribbon within the company's easement on your property. Crews plan to use existing roads or lanes, whenever possible, to access the power line route.

Early 2023: Coates Field Service, Inc., serves as PSO’s right-of-way representative for this project. Coates right-of-way agents plan to contact affected landowners to discuss field activities, easement acquisition and construction.
