SWEPCO officials plan to enhance the local power grid in northwest Louisiana. These enhancements support economic development in the area and ensure continued reliable service for area customers.

Project Updates

Fall 2025: As this project has evolved, the timeline has shifted. SWEPCO representatives expect construction to begin in early 2026 and conclude in late spring 2026. O.R. Colan Associates (ORC) serve as SWEPCO’s right-of-way representative for this project. ORC right-of-way agents continue to contact affected landowners to discuss field activities, easement acquisition and construction.
