Vision Station Project
Representatives of AEP Oklahoma Transmission Company, Inc. (OK Transco) and its affiliate Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) plan to enhance transmission reliability in southwestern Oklahoma. The Vision Station Project involves building the new 345-kilovolt (kV) Vision Substation in west Stephens County to integrate a new generator into AEP's transmission system. The project enhances area transmission reliability and supports regional energy diversification.
Crews plan to begin construction in summer 2026 and conclude by fall 2027.
On Jan. 5, 2026, OK Transco representatives filed an application for a Certificate of Authority (COA) with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) (Case No. PUD 2026-000001) to build the Vision Substation and associated equipment to connect into PSO's existing Lawton Eastside - Terry Road 345-kV transmission line.
