Roselms - Kalida Area Improvements Project
The Roselms-Kalida Area Improvements Project involves rebuilding about 30 miles of power line and building about 10 miles of power line.
Company representatives plan to update, supplement and acquire new easements where necessary. Improvements reduce the likelihood of power outages and speed recovery of service when outages occur.
Project Updates
Summer 2026: The project team is currently revising the project schedule and plan to provide an update to the community soon.
AEP Ohio representatives announced the project in summer 2020. In 2024, the project was placed on hold while the team re-evaluated the project schedule. Since then, the project team has reviewed and revised the schedule. The timeline below incorporates those updates.
Landowners along the line route can expect to hear from a Contract Land Services (CLS) agent, AEP Ohio's right-of-way representative for this project, to answer questions about the project, including easements, field activities and next steps.
