The Philo-Newcomerstown Area Improvements Project involves:
Company representatives plan to build the power line in an approximate 100 foot wide right-of-way corridor and plan to acquire new easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line. Company officials plan to construct the project in sequences. Not all sections of the project will be under construction at once.
July 2023: AEP Ohio representatives invite the community to attend an in-person open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Cambridge High School located at 1401 Deer Path Drive in Cambridge, to review project details for the new power line connecting the existing East New Concord Substation to the existing transmission line in Guernsey and Muskingum counties. You can view detailed maps and talk with team members about the proposed route alternatives. There is no formal presentation, so you can arrive at any time during the event.
