Summer 2023: Construction is ongoing and is scheduled to be completed early 2024.
September 2020: Company representatives announced addition project components that involve building about 1.5 miles of power line and rebuilding about 1.5 miles of power line.
Summer 2019: A public open house took place on June 13, 2019. Company representatives answered questions and gathered input from local residents.
Early 2020: Company representatives announced a proposed substation location and power line route for a section of the project. Additional project components are still under evaluation.
The project involves the installation of steel poles.
