The Barnsdall Tap-Tulsa North Transmission Line Rebuild Project involves replacing about 25 miles of 138-kilovolt line in Osage and Tulsa counties. The project:
Fall 2022: PSO representatives began construction in the summer along the first segment of this project between the Barnsdall Tap Substation and Skiatook Water Pump Substation. Crews plan to finish this work in December and right-of-way cleanup will follow shortly thereafter. The next segment of this project involves rebuilding the southern portion between the Skiatook Water Pump Substation and the Tulsa North Substation. Crews plan to begin pre-construction activities in November and start transmission line construction in earnest in mid-December. PSO representatives expect construction to finish in Spring 2023.
