AEP Ohio plans to conduct studies to assess the feasibility of upgrades to the electric transmission network in Holmes County in northeast Ohio. The area's power grid must be upgraded because of the condition and need to support a projected increase in electricity demand.
The company identified study segments for review. Study segments are multiple alternatives to determine where improvements could be located. If an approved solution involves building a new power line, the company would not build all study segments; rather, it would select one route to build based on public input and feasibility.
