AEP Ohio representatives plan to upgrade the electric transmission network serving customers in Tuscarawas, Stark and Holmes counties. The project involves rebuilding about 10 miles of power line to increase electric reliability in the area. Plans call for rebuilding the power line in the existing right-of-way, although company representatives might need to acquire new easements or supplement current easements to ensure the safe construction, operation and maintenance of the line.
Field activities are scheduled to begin in February 2020 and continue through spring.
