The project involves:
One electric transmission line currently provides power to the village of Albany. The planned improvements provide an additional power source to strengthen the local electric power grid and reduce the likelihood of larger, sustained community power outages.
Company officials expect construction to begin later this year and conclude early next year.
AEP Ohio crews began construction spring 2023 and expect to finish early 2024.
This project involves the use of single, steel poles.
