Roanoke - Marion Transmission Line Rebuild Project

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M) is rebuilding approximately 37 miles of existing 138-kilovolt (kV) transmission line connecting the Sorenson Substation in Roanoke to the Deer Creek Substation in Marion. The improvements are essential to ensure continued reliable electric service for customers across the region. Double-circuit structures utilizing Breakthrough Overhead Line Design® (BOLD®) will maximize the infrastructure's performance while minimizing environmental impacts and overall system costs.
